Biography
Thomas M. Ratino, MD, is a Pain Management specialist at the Magnolia Medical Tower in Fort Worth. Dr. Ratino joined Texas Health Care from a Pain Management Fellowship at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, IL. He received his Doctor of Medicine and an undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Dr. Ratino completed anesthesiology residencies at both the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, KS.
Dr. Ratino became a doctor to be a part of a profession that is challenging and constantly evolving. “I enjoy working with so many different people while having the opportunity to have a positive impact on their lives,” said Dr. Ratino. No two patients are the same, and no matter how long a physician practices medicine, there is always room to learn. Dr. Ratino strives to provide top quality care with coordinated and innovative solutions for treating pain. He believes an important component in comprehensive care is to educate patients on pain and inform families about the many treatment options available today. His personal mission is to help persons in pain achieve a higher level of life enjoyment.
In his free time, Dr. Ratino enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sporting activities such as skiing and boxing.
